The fourth exhibition since the Gallery moved to new venue, is presenting:

• an exhibition of art by children of the Art Studio ARTINO from Belgrade and
• an exhibition of plastic art by sculptor Mladen Kralj from Maribor
  

Krajnović Goran, from the embassy of Serbia and Monte Negro in Ljubljana opened the exhibition, the cultural programme presented the folklore dance group of the Serbian cultural and humanitarian society Desanka Maksimović from Celje.

Art studio Artino from Belgrade in Serbia and Monte Negro was funded in 1996 to help developing and promoting children’s art creativity at home and abroad. The studio also established an international manifestation Children Art colony Belgrade, through which the cooperation with The World of Art started in 1998. Participants of the colony created on the theme architecture and characteristics of this important historical city. It was the first time that Belgrade hosted an exhibition from Slovenia after ex-Yugoslavia fell apart. A lot of ambassadors from Belgrade attended the opening ceremony. A journalist of the Delo newspaper wrote that "the exhibition will contribute to a further development and cooperation between Slovenia and Yugoslavia, at least in the field of culture, being the first step into this direction". Two years later there was distinctive performance of Slovene National Theatre with over 150 people on stage, which was the first official cultural event in Yugoslavia, supported by the state of Slovenia.

The founder and leader of the Art Studio Artino is academic painter specialist Svetlana Vesić-Ralević. Due to her creative spirit and extraordinary organizational the Artino studio has reached the highest quality of such associations in the world art scene. With her sparkling soul she can easily enter the world of children, communicates with the youngest artists and reaches very good results in working with them. She has been awarded several times for her achievements in the field of art pedagogy. She has been member of the jury at the international competitions of The World of Art magazine for several times. Hundreds of young artists have learned first steps in art at the Art Studio Artino. The most successful ones won many awards all over the world.

The exhibition at The Gallery of Children's Art Works Celje will include art by young authors from 7 to 15 years of age, competed in the last four years. A lot of them were awarded in different international competitions. Vivid paintings and very popular animal motifs, the compositions having complex solutions, winter motifs and playing in the snow are usual theme in the studio, used for calendars and Christmas card, in the folklore motifs one can find local traditions, meeting the needs of international competitions and contests. We are expecting our guests in Celje wishig that they would feel how similar we are in terms of creativita and thought. We wish them to feel how close we can be with the culture of dialogue and mutual understanding of our cultures, with the cooperation, exchanging of ideas, creativity and cultural achievements, so that we can enter the new century side by side as friends.

Mladen Kralj has entered the world of sculptures only recently, as a self-taught sculptor and quick learner he already surprised many an expert of small plastic arts. He creates a combination of realistic and daring sensualistic sculptures one remembers, things about and returns to again and again. The current series of small plastic arts brings new topics The Thinker, The Kurent, The Poet, Expecting, Inside you etc.Visitors can meditate and tjink about them, try to identify with them and the sculptor, they reveal the mind of the author, the work and themselves. He will be heard of.
