Who am I? Who are my people and what cultural heritage have I inherited? What shall we save for our future generations? The identity of my people... Architecture, ethnological and cultural heritage (tools, weapons, clothes), natural heritage (underground caves, natural and national parks, rare flora and fauna)...

At the time when our planet is becoming one huge global village, you can contribute something special to this village, as a gift of your people, and you can proudly say: "This is me, this is my people. This is something unique for the history of this planet."

After a year of children's art creativity all over the world a dream village was born to which most people would gladly run to hide from the horrors of everyday life. You could settle in a traditional Kazakhstan "jurta" or a house made of wood by Romanian craftsmen, old city centre of Polish medieval city or in a true castle in Slovakia. The safety is provided by the Kenyan "Masai", little girls around the village herd the cattle and sheep with the help of Bulgarian shepherds. You can relax, you shall feel no hunger - the bread will be served by traditional Iran bakers out in the open, made from ecological flour of Slovenian wind mills. After a traditional lunch with a Turkish family you can take a nap in Moroccan quarters, play grass hockey with the Indians or just take a walk and admire the Mayan architecture, puppet theatre from the Indonesian island Java, Croatian bell ringers or Slovenian "kurents"... Would you like to add anything? No problem, you can join little girls picking cotton in Hong Kong, Slovenian grass mowers or Indian tea makers. The spirit is also taken care of, because you can pray in a Serbian monastery, catholic Croatian church, Polish cathedral, Turkish Mosey or an Uruguay church...

Still not interested? Want to take a nap? Not a problem. Greek traditional houses are here, green Moldavian prairies, a picnic on a Russian lawn, and with Belarussian and Iran myths, as well as Hungarian and Slovak musicians you might even feel tired and fall asleep. Holidays... oh, holidays. Famous Hungarian wedding, Singapore dragons, Indonesian masks of Bali, Belarussian bowling with Easter eggs, German green Yuri... Do you still feel bored? Want to dip in sea waves? Not a problem. With all of its ancient architecture you are expected by Egyptian Alexandria, the flower island of Madeira, warm beaches of Monte Negro... Would you like to stay here and die? Not a problem. The dream village has cemeteries; Jewish, Muslim, Catholic...
Wake up, will you! It is a dream village of young people from all over the world in our gallery in Celje. Dreams and truth together. Thank you so much for making this village come true, this wonderful village, worth our work and cooperation. 
They did not just create, they actually came to Celje to get the award and to get to know the  homeland of the contest, which respects them, their art and the preserved creativity of innumerable generations of their people. Distances are not a problem at all. They arrived from Singapore, Turkey, Iran, as well as from closer countries - Croatia, Slovakia, Serbia and Montenegro. There were representatives of the the Serbian, Turkish and Slovak embassies, a lot of them were retained by other duties. The vice mayor Stane Rozman opened the exhibition, the programme was variegated by the Dance Forum Celje with Goga Stefanović Erjavec. On Friday, 19th May 2006, Celje was the centre of art creativity of young people from all parts of the world.

The exhibition can be seen until end of August. Meanwhile we are going to open exhibitions from the archive in Bjelovar, Croatia, Monata, Bulgaria, Minsk, Belaruss, Moscow, Russia...
