Horses in Velenje After successful exhibitions around the world of awarded art works on the theme »Horse« of the international competition of The World of Art magazine, for authors up to 20 years, the green light for exhibitions in the Slovenian cultural sphere has finally turned on. It began with exhibitions in the gallery Krka and at the Hostel for students Poljane in Ljubljana and it continues with the Gallery Barbara and Ice Hall of Velenje Coalmine, the gallery Alga in Izola, etc. The Gallery Barbara and the Ice Hall of Velenje Coalmine were only able to present 30 awarded art works from 30 countries. Nevertheless, children, pupils, students and lovers of young people's art creativity were able to admire the best art works of authors up to 20 years from all the continents, selected and awarded at five international competitions of The World of Art magazine, from the year 1998 to 2003. |
