Three Exhibitions of Young Authors In a Serbian town called Pančevo, which is about 15 kilometers away from the capital city of Beograd, the municipal holiday was ceremoniously marked by means of opening the 3 exhibitions of the awarded artworks from the International competitions organized by The World of Art magazine and our Gallery of Young People’s Art Works Celje. The exhibitions were organized and the artworks were put on display in three eminent institutions of this town: in The Children’s Cultural Center of the Kindergartens "The Joy of Children", which is involved in educating some 2300 children from Pančevo, in The Town Library of Pančevo and in The Historical Museum of Pančevo. In the name of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Beograd, the exhibitions were opened by Mrs. Tanja Kovačič, the attaché for the cultural affairs, and the solemn orators were the following: the mayor of Pančevo, Mr. Srđan Miković, the director of the "The Joy of Children" kindergartens, Mrs. Slava Timarac Jovanov, the director of the library, Mr. Nemanja Rotar, and the director of the Historical Museum, Mr. Milan Jakšič. All the guests, who attended the ceremony, were greeted and delighted by the song and dance of the group of children from "The Joy of Children". Respected young artists, the participants and the awardees of our competitions, your masterpieces are still alive and are still filling the admirers of your sincere drawings, paintings and the graphic works with enthusiasm. I’m glad to have been able to make all this possible for you all.
