Artworks of the Israeli Children in Celje     At the Gallery of Young People's Art Works in Celje there was an opening of another interesting international exhibition. The artworks of the Israeli children, made in the period from 2004 – 2006 under the supervision of an acknowledged professor from the USA, Maureen Kushner, were put on display. Through all the artworks we can trace the thread of the same theme: peace through humor. The portrayed artworks of the Israeli children were seen by several million people at the exhibitions in the USA, Israel, Canada and Austria. This time they are put on display in Slovenia in the organization of the Institution for Creative Development of Young People from Celje and in the consensus with the Israeli Embassy in Vienna, which together managed to assure several exhibitions at the galleries around Slovenia. The exhibition was opened by Mr. Zvi Cohen, the special emissary of Israel for Slovenia during the Slovene presidency of the EU. The cultural program included the stage appearance of the children from the Musical School Radeče. In the name of the Celje Municipality all the persons present were greeted by the deputy mayor, Mr. Stane Rozman.
