World of Art Indija As the leader of Institution for Creative Development of Young People and The Gallery of Young People’s Art Works Celje and also as the editor of the World of Art magazine, Mihailo Lišanin stayed in India for the second fortnight of April. Within the scope of his 14-day stay in this country (where he was invited by the World of Art India) there was an opening of the first children’s gallery in this city with 15 million residents. On this occasion Mihailo Lišanin donated the first 200 artworks of young authors from 50 different countries from the archive of the Gallery of Children’s Art Works to the newly established gallery. At the grand ceremony there were numerous imminent personalities from India present, to name but a few: M. V. Rajashekaran, ex-minister of culture of India, His Holiness, Chidambara Deekshita Swamiji, founder of the temple in Mathikere (federal state of Karnataka), N. Rama Reddy, Indian minister for science and technology, Giriraju Dinakar, the leader of the World of Art India… During the ceremonial the World of Art Celje delivered the rule of co-founding the education of 15-year old Ms. Shriya Dinakar who is a talented fine artist, dancer of sacred dances and a candidate for an astronaut. Then the awards were granted to the best Indian creators in the fields of painting, music, dance, technics and sport. As the honorary guest of the ceremony, Mihailo Lišanin was invited to visit India next year as well as a sign of his successful cooperation with the institutions from India that deal with development of young people. During his stay in India as their guest, he had opportunity to visit New Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Banglore and some other surrounding places. |
