on theme "WHO AM I? WHO ARE MY PEOPLE?", results
12th International competition of The World of Art magazine and The Gallery of Young People's Art Works Celje for art works of authors up to 20 years, this time on theme "Who am I? Who are my people?" is finished. Over 10.000 art works from 46 countries were admitted and reviewed by the jury structered of: dr. Bogomil Karlavaris, academic painter, Rijeka, Croatia, Emil Sfera, academic painter, Pančevo, Serbia and Breda Bračko, art pedagogue, Primary School Griže, Slovenia; which selected three best art works and fifty art works for special diplomas in each age group.
Age group from up to 10 years:

- Polina Timoshenko, 8 years, Art Studio Vitebsk, Belarus
- Vasilev Vangel Miroslavov, 10 years, Fine Arts School Targoviste, Bulgaria
Age group from 11-15 years:

- Andrej Popuša, 13 years, I. Zakladna škola Jarovnice, Slovakia
- Jure Drobne, 15 years, Gimnazija Celje - center, Art Gymnasium, Celje, Slovenia
Age group from 16-20 years:
- Abrahim Yousuf el Goligel, 16 years, Kuwait National Commission for Education, Science & Culture (UNESCO), Safat, Kuwait
- Martina Čapek, 16 years, Foto Film Klub Daruvar, Croatia
- Laura Valencia, 18 years, "Ananda" Visual Art School, Bandung, Indonesia

The ceremonial of granting the diplomas and grand opening of exhibition of awarded art works will occur on 18th of May 2007 at The Gallery of Young People's Art Works in Celje, Slovenia. The process of acquiring visa takes quite some time, therefore we kindly ask those winners who need visas to inform us till 1st March 2007 (by email:
