on theme "Who am I" Who are my people?", results

13^th International competition of The World of Art magazine and The Gallery of Young People's Art Works Celje for art works of authors up to 20 years, this time on theme "Who am I? Who are my people?" is finished. Over 10.000 art works from 40 countries were admitted and reviewed by the jury structured of: Emil Sfera, academic painter, Pančevo, serbia, Nada Adamek, art pedagogue, Samobor, Croatia, mag. Marija Artiček, art pedagogue, Primary School Gorica pri Slivnici, Slovenia, and Breda Bračko, art pedagogue, Primary School Griže, Slovenia; which selected three best art works in each age group and fifty art works for special diplomas in each age group.

Age group from up to 10 years:

• Sorina Teodora Cazinescu, 9 years, "Scoala Corbeni - Culoare Si Vis", Corbeni, Romania

• Tomaš Gina, 12 years, "1. Zakladna škola", Jarovnice, Slovakia
• Sofija Pavlović, 13 years, "Mađarski Kulturni Center Nepkor", Subotica, Serbia

Age group from 16-20 years:

• Dilara Mataraci, 15 years, "Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi", Trabzon, Turkey
• Nemanja Bojanić, 18 years, Srednja likovna škola "Petar Lubarda", Cetinje, Montenegro
• Almira Dekić, 19 years, "Zavod za usposabljanje invalidne mladine Kamnik", Slovenia

All awardees of 13th International competition are sorted in alphabetical order of participating countries bellow.

The ceremonial of granting the diplomas and grand opening of exhibition of awarded art works will occur on Friday, 23rd of May 2008 at 14:00 at The Gallery of Young People's Art Works in Celje, Slovenia. We kindly ask those awardees and their mentors from abroad who need visas for entering Slovenia and wish to attend the ceremonial to inform us about this until 1st of March 2008, because the process of acquiring visa takes quite some time. We ask the other awardees who don't need visas to confirm their participation at the ceremonial until 1st of May 2008.
