In mid October we had two visits from distinguished guests by the representatives of The Ministries of Education in South Korea and the Head of Art Department in Pardaugavas Music and Art school in Riga, Latvia. The main topic of the visit of Kim Jeung-Hee and Kim Hae-Kyung from South Korea was setting up an exhibition from the archive of our gallery in May 2010 in honor of the 2010 UNESCO Art Education World Congress that will take place in Seul. The exhibition, that will be set up on the occasion on site, will be organized by the
Let's Art Children's Art Center from Seul and its leader Mr. Andy Lee. This will be a great honor and recognition to the quality of our archive in The Gallery of Young People’s Art Works and also an acknowledgement to the cooperation of our gallery with other art capitals in the world so far.
The representative from Latvia, Dace Paeglite was also interested in the possibility of exchange exhibitions in 2010, and this project will most likely be carried out by the end of 2010 or in the beginning of 2011.
In a very short period of time in October, many other invitations for setting up an exhibition were offered, among other the exhibitions in Munich alongside the October fest festival, Moscow, Banja Luka, New Delhi, Corbeni (Romania), Montana (Bulgaria) and Onitsha in Nigeria.
