WORLD INFORMATION CENTRE OF YOUNG PEOPLE'S INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS FOR ART After almost twenty years of experience in the field of international competitions for young people I came to a conclusion that some kind of world centre is needed, where all the information on international competitions would be gathered and distributed. The people with their own international competitions could offer them and those who wish to take part in such events would get the information on international competitions from all over the world on time. The aim is for international competitions to reach as many young people, to whom they are intended, as possible. Young people are, in a way, somewhat forgotten by the ministries of education or culture and we want them to have an equal opportunity to take part in international art competitions, regardless of their nationality, religious beliefs, colour of their skin or any other personal beliefs or characteristics. In this way we could offer young people from all over the world the opportunity to take part and be awarded for their artworks thus encouraging them to remain artistically creative. Our moto is: Equal opportunities of participation and awards for young people’s artistic creativity.” More than ten thousand young people from 45 – 50 countries around the world participate each year in our international competitions which confirms the success of our work.
