IX. International graphic workshop





In Celje was from 18.-25. August 2010 IX. International graphic workshop on the subject of “Architecture of Celje and Old castle Celje” on which participated academic graphic artist Milica Bjelanović from Zrenjanin and academic painter Emil Sfera from Pančevo, both Serbia. Unfortunately professor of art education Boris Roce from Rjeka postponed his participation, just before start, because urgent obligations to a later date this year and to who will then join some other graphic artists.
We have also this time organized a tour of Celje with surroundings, Ljubljana and Maribor with Pohorje. New graphics were created which hold an artistic mark of new authors.
So in last nine years were created 175 graphics from 31 authors from 9 countries in which all showed their creativity on the subject of “Architecture of Celje”. Their vision of our city, trough the eyes of artists who see Celje for the first time and then transmit their impressions on graphic paper, is a priceless testimony to further generations about present disappearing architecture of our city.
As all before also IX. International workshop was lead, under sponsorship of Municipality of Celje, by Mihailo Lišanin.
