From Saturday, 09.10.2010 are in House of Culture “Kosača” in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, named after Queen Katarina Kotoromanić, exhibited the awarded artworks on the theme “Ethnological dresses and folklore dances of my people” of the 15th international competition of The Gallery of Young People’s Art Works Celje for year 2009. The exhibition was opened in framework of International congress on theme “Traditional culture-link in the integration of the Region” which was organized in Mostar by CIOFF Bosnia and Herzegovina and Association of Croatian Culture and Art Societies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their president Anka Raić. Part of four day congress was, besides the exhibition opening from Celje, also an evening of folklore of Bosnia and Herzegovina where a large number Culture and Art Societies of Bosnia and Herzegovina performed. At the performance of young folklore dancers in cultural programme and with the presence of congress participants and guests the exhibition from Celje was opened by Mihailo Lišanin, founder of international competition and The Gallery of Young People’s Art Works Celje. As thanks for her work, which is she performing in the field of linking of nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anka Raić received Memorial traveller’s kit of world traveller Alma Karlin from guest from Celje. Alma Karlin was born at the end of 19th century in Celje and from 1918 to 1928 she travelled almost all over then known world.
