Thanks to the cooperation with the gallery little ART from Munich The Gallery of Young People’s Art Works Celje presented her self in September and October to the admirers of fine arts in Munich. On the exhibition were displayed awarded artworks from the 15th international competition of the magazine The World of Art on the theme “Ethnological dresses and folklore dances of my people” together with the exhibition of the gallery little Art on the theme “Do clothes make a man?”. Exhibitions were opened on 15.9.2010 in the framework of celebration of the 200th anniversary of Munich’s Oktoberfest but official opening was on 15.10.2010 in the framework of Munich’s Night of Museums. The exhibition was officially opened by consul general of Slovenia in Munich Marko Vrevc and few words about the exhibition where said by the founder of little ART M.Sc. Elena Janker and by Mihailo Lišanin from Celje. At the exhibition opening we had a great help from the art historian of Slovenian-Japanese descent on a postgraduate study in Munich Ida Bučar Maki who simultaneously translated the opening ceremony. Exhibited paintings and specimens where variegated by the members of Slovenian Cultural Society Lipa from Munich and by a group from the studio La Silhouette which prepared a fashion show of the futuristic clothes. Munich, with 1,2 million inhabitants, is a cultural and administrative capital of Bavaria, which invests a lot in the culture. This night was opened more than 200 museums and galleries, free of charge together with the bus transit. All participants, museums and galleries, together with exhibitions were presented in a catalogue which included also a ticket for all the museums and galleries for merely 15€. Comparative looking 15€ was the cost of breakfast in the Leonardo hotel where I was sleeping. Despite the rain residents of Munich filled all the museums and galleries till the small hours. That night more than 800 visitors visited the little ART gallery and left in the guestbook only commendations for the exhibitions from Celje and little ART.
